I was very keen on making the most of the opportunity to capture treasures memories of the day so I asked the Groom if I could take some photographs. The couple were happy with the idea and the official photographer was even more helpful. I picked up a lot of tips along the way. During the ceremony itself I kept to my seat and left the official photographer to do his job. However, outside the church and during the reception I was able to have as much fun as I could. I came out with some very pleasing results and for my first wedding I was pretty happy with my results. In 2010, after having several issues with the official photographer and after seeing a Hindu wedding album I had shot and created, the couple came back to me and approached me to create an album for them featuring both sets of images. I was thrilled. What a result!

In 2008 I was invited to attend my cousins' wedding as a guest. At the time I owned a Canon 40D DSLR and a bag full of lenses. I was only natural that I was going to take it with me.
